This week's mid-season schedule...

The mid-season replacements and early finales continue so here’s a quick look at what you need to know for this week…

After a long hiatus, “The King of Queens” returns for its ninth and final season tonight (Monday) at 9:30 p.m. on CBS. Also returning tonight is “Falcon Beach” (7 p.m., ABC Family).

Tonight also marks the premiere of the seven-episode series, “Thank God You’re Here,” in which guest stars open a door to enter an unknown scene that they must improv. Guests tonight include Bryan Cranston, Wayne Knight, Jennifer Coolidge and Joel McHale. NBC gives us back-to-back episodes beginning at 9 p.m…

Wednesday, April 11th, it’s the season finale of “Friday Night Lights” (8 p.m., NBC). Just in case, NBC doesn’t renew this one, fans won’t want to miss this episode…

Thursday, April 12th, ABC premieres its newest comedy, “Notes From the Underbelly,” which follows a couple through their first pregnancy (10 p.m.)…

Friday, April 13th, SciFi premieres “Stargate SG-1” (8 p.m.) and “Stargate: Atlantis” (9 p.m.)…

This Week's Mid-Season Replacements: Lots of Familiar Faces

Some familiar faces return to TV (or appear for the first time) this week as four more mid-season replacements are unveiled…

Monday, it’s the latest drama from FX, “The Riches,” starring Eddie Izzard and Minnie Driver as grifters (10 p.m.)…






Thursday, Andy Richter returns to TV with “Andy Barker, P.I.,” which is executive-produced and co-created by his pal, Conan O’Brien (9:30 p.m., NBC).






Also getting a premiere on Thursday is “Raines” starring Jeff Goldblum as a police detective who solves crimes with the help of the victims (In other words, he sees dead people.) (10 p.m., NBC).









ABC unveils “October Road” about an author who returns home after being away for 10 years and has to face the people he wrote about for the first time. Laura Prepon (“That 70s Show”) and Tom Berenger are among the stars (10 p.m.)…

The Mid-Season Rush Begins...

Sweeps is over, but the mid-season rush has just begun with four big premieres this week…

Tonight (Sunday), FOX premieres the newest creation from Seth McFarlane, the creator of “Family Guy” and “American Dad.” “The Winner” is the story of a man describing the years when he started to experience life outside his parents’ house—his 30s. “The Winner” premieres at 8:30 p.m., with another episode at 9:30 p.m…




McG’s first post-“We Are Marshall” project premieres Tuesday (March 6th) at 9 p.m. on the CW. He’s an Executive Producer of “Pussycat Dolls Present: The Search for the Next Doll.” Think “American Idol” in a lingerie store…

Wednesday (March 7th) at 9 p.m., FOX premieres the newest show from David E. Kelley (“Boston Legal,” “Ally McBeal”), “The Wedding Bells,” about three sisters who are wedding planners…

Sunday (March 11th) at 9 p.m., Lifetime premieres its new show, “Blood Ties,” with back-to-back episodes. “Ties” is the story of a private investigator who teams up with a vampire to investigate supernatural crimes…
