FOX Moves Forward With "The A-Team"

So I guess they’re really doing this…

Twentieth Century FOX has put together a team to make “The A-Team” into a movie…

Joe Carnahan (“Smokin’ Aces”) will direct, while Ridley Scott will produce, with his brother Tony Scott executive producing.

Stephen J. Cannell, who created the show, will also produce.

The Middle East will replace Vietnam as where the team served, but the gist of the team’s origin will remain the same.

The studio is aiming for a June 11, 2010 release date.

Having the Scotts behind this makes me feel a little better…but just a little…
