The Latest on the Writers Strike...

Negotiations stalled last night as the WGA refused to give into the demand that they drop their fight for increased DVD residuals.

Now, a strike can be ordered at any time. The WGA membership is meeting tonight at the Los Angeles Convention Center, so there’s an excellent chance the strike could begin after that meeting—especially since strike captains were told to instruct guild members to take their personal items home from their offices at the end of work today, according to “Variety.”
