Will Rosie Turn on the "Lights"?

When I think about projects for NBC that Rosie O’Donnell could become a part of, “Friday Night Lights” is not the first show that comes to mind. But…

“FNL” Executive Producer Jason Katims told Michael Ausiello that he is wooing Rosie to play a female soccer coach that is angry about the football program getting more than she does. He said that it would initially be one episode, but it could be more if she wanted it to be.

Katims plans to approach Rosie in the coming weeks. Rosie talked about being a fan of the show when she was on “The View”…

Speaking of “FNL,” the soundtrack will hit stores July 24th. It features music from The Killers, Outkast, Spoon and more.

The “FNL” DVD will hit stores August 28th for the ridiculously low retail price of $29.98 (You can pre-order it at Amazon for only $19.98!)…
