"Jericho" Gets "Lost," While "The King" Returns

Following in the footsteps of ABC with “Lost,” CBS has decided to split the first season of “Jericho” in two.

The show will go on hiatus after its November 29th episode. It will return February 14th with a recap episode, followed by new episodes beginning February 21st. The network plans to use the Super Bowl and the Grammys to promote the show.

To fill the void, CBS will bring back “The King of Queens” for the month of December. Then, it will go on hiatus as well with seven episodes left to air in 2007 (Kind of makes you wonder why bother, doesn’t it?).
