Canada geese at HRP
Normally I don't like Canada geese except to take a few pics, but a couple at Harris Riverfront Park seem to have overcome part of their fear of people. Yes, that can be foolish, but they know how to play to the tourists.
This one is looking at me and the boys like, okay, where's the food?
And this one was taking a drink or getting something out of the water. It looks like it's drooling, but it's not.
I've been told some places have outlawed the feeding of wild Canada geese because the critters are such a nuisance. All I know is that they have adopted Harris Riverfront Park, and it gives people something to see as long as the birds do their you-know-what in the river and not on the grass.
Oh, and the swan geese that had been living at the Guyandotte boat ramp have taken up residence at HRP.
