Not another one

US News & World Report is following the Christian Science Monitor's lead and is moving to being an Internet publication.

I can see why US News & World Report would do this, but how long can it survive as Internet only? I don’t know of that many news and opinion publications that operate Web-only without a print product to build the brand on. By that I mean publications that do original research, not blogs and other opinion-driven sites that live off references to reporting by others.
