Calm before storm
Things were pretty quiet today. Not much happening on the opinion front. Even letters to the editor have dried up until after the election.
So I went to Ironton today to look around for editorial ideas and get some pics for a photo-intensive editorial I hope to do later this week if a fellow at the Ohio Department of Transportation and I can stop missing each other during phone tag.
While I was down there, I lost my train of thought while dealing with a flat tire. At least it happened in Ironton and not on one of the long stretches between towns, you know?
Tonight the reporters and other editors will deal with election returns. I'll be home watching TV and helping my daughter with a creative writing assignment. I'll wake up tomorrow to learn that the presidential election cannot be called until courts in Pennsylvania, Virginia and Florida deal with problems.
See you tomorrow.
