Dennis Kucinich and the bailout

As I've said before, I don't agree with Dennis Kucinich on much, but I like the guy for standing up for his beliefs. He's a refreshing change from a lot of the people we have in Washington.

So it was with amusement and a bit of surprise to see that both he and Shelly Moore Capito voted against the bailout bill yesterday. Here I thought Capito was a Bush stooge (I must be reading the wrong blogs). Anyway, here is a paragraph from an article in The Boston Globe about the bailout:

Some lawmakers in both parties said they were reluctant to vote for the highly unpopular bill, saying their constituents saw it as an unfair taxpayer rescue of an industry that had run itself into the ground with bad business decisions. "My vote will not be 'no,' but 'hell, no,' " said Representative Dennis Kucinich, Democrat of Ohio.

Maybe the House needs a "Hell No" option for its members to register how they really feel about some things.
