Harry Potter and the final chapter

The publication date for the final Harry Potter book has been announced:

I'll buy it and read it. I hope it's as satisfying as the hype that will accompany it.

I have to admit, I was leery of "Revenge of the Sith" before it was released, but it was worth the wait. If you have the time and the inclination, read the novelization of the movie. It expands the dialogue in crucial sections and everything makes for more sense. Or, more sense for a Star Wars movie.

Oh, and this fall we will again be treated to someone trying to keep the Harry Potter books off the school library shelves because they encourage kids to experiment with witchcraft.
