Pet Photos With Santa.

Tomorrow, 12/14/08, there will be pet photos with Santa at the Huntington Mall at the mall Gazebo. If you missed the first session, you have another chance to get that special picture with your pet. It will be from 9am-12pm. You also get a special treat from Just Dogs! Gourmet. It is one of their very yummy Peanut Butter Cups.

Come out for a fun time.

Little Victories Photo's A Hit.

3 days a week this month, Little Victories has been taking pictures of people pets at the Macy's dome in the Huntington mall. After the photo shoot, the people can bring their pets down to Just Dog's! Gourmet for a free bag of our training treats.

It has been such a treat to see the different dogs come through with their owners to get their goodies. Some have sweaters or t-shirts, while others have on their bandanna's. They are so, so cute. Having worked with dogs for many years, I get an extra thrill petting the dogs, and in some cases, getting "puppy kisses."

Most all of the dogs I have met, have had excellent manners. Actually, I haven't really met one yet that wasn't able to be out in society. Most could pass the Canine Good Citizens test with no problem. So, if you get a chance, come out and get your pets picture taken. I have a post about it on this blog with the times and days to come out and get that precious pet of yours, picture taken.

Chance and Mr. Puppy say, "My mom has a million pictures of me and I love to pose."

I received an email from the American Humane about their 2008 Pets & Pals Photo Contest. You love your pets. And you love taking pictures of them. Why not enter your pictures in the 2008 Pets & Pals Photo Contest? The 2008 contest categories are Dogs, Cats, People & Pets,Petpourri, Down on the Farm, and Shelter Life. Two Grand Prize winners will each win $2,000 plus a non-cash prize package. Six Category Winners (one in each category) will each win $500 plus a non-cash prize package. My vet, Dr. Wayne Maass, owner of Guyan Animal Hospital on Rt. 60 near Barboursville, sends out this great magazine called Healthy Pet. It also has on it your pet's reminder for annual shots and heartworm testing. It is really informative.
