Red Dawson in Hawaii

Just got off the phone a while ago with Red Dawson, an assistant Marshall University football coach at the time of the plane crash. Red recently was invited to Hawaii by "Lost" star Matthew Fox, the actor portraying Red in "We Are Marshall." Red said he was enjoying the beautiful Hawaiian weather and the hospitality of Matthew and his family. He said Matthew is a terrific guy and has enjoyed discussing the role with him.

Congratulations, Marshall University students and community members. You showed the casting folks from Warner Bros. Pictures that you're really serious about this film, showing up some 1,300 strong Thursday during an extras casting session at the Joan C. Edwards Performing Arts Center. I also was impressed with the kindness and patience of Patrick Ingram, casting director of extras for "We Are Marshall." He and the other people connected with the movie have been extremely cooperative and gracious. What was the experience like for you? Don't hesitate to come aboard and share your thoughts.
