Mandisa Makes a Splash...

Mandisa is tearing up the Christian music scene with her debut single, “Only the World,” which debuted at #2 on the Hot Singles Sales chart last week. It also sits at #17 on the Christian Songs chart and #16 on the Christian AC chart. Mandisa’s debut on the Billboard chart gives season five of “Idol” the most charted artists with eight.

You can hear “Only the World”—which is extremely catchy—at www.myspace.com/mandisa. Her debut album, “True Beauty,” hits stores July 31st.

I’m working on her book now, and I’ll have a review for you when I finish it…

Mandisa Looks Through "Idoleyes"

If you’re having Mandisa withdrawal, you can hear her sing “My Redeemer” on the CD, “Beth Moore Presents Songs of Deliverance.” You can hear a sample at www.myspace.com/mandisa.

Christian author and speaker Moore returns the favor by writing the forward to Mandisa’s book, “Idoleyes: My New Perspectives on Faith, Fat and Fans.” The book details Mandisa’s struggles with food addiction and her experience on “Idol.” The book is scheduled for release in June.
