Tonight's CMT Awards

Carrie Underwood is performing tonight (Monday) on the 2007 CMT Music Awards Show.

Kellie Pickler will be a presenter. Kellie also served as host of the 2007 CMT Music Awards Video of the Year Special, which will re-air today at 3 p.m. on CMT…

Carrie is nominated for Video of the Year for “Before He Cheats.” The final four nominees for the award will be announced at the beginning of the show, but I can’t believe “Cheats” won’t be one of them. “Cheats” is also nominated for Female Video of the Year and Video Director of the Year.

Kellie Pickler’s “Red High Heels” is nominated for Breakthrough Video of the Year.

Chart News: Daughtry Returns to #1, Kellie Takes a Jump and Elliott Makes a Chart Appearance

Daughtry's self-titled debut album returned to the #1 spot this week on the Billboard 200 selling another 90,000 copies. "Home" debuted at #83 on the Hot 100 singles chart, but look for it to make a big leap very soon...

Also making its debut on the Hot 100 was Elliott Yamin's first single, "Movin' On," at #61. I'll have more on Elliott's album later this week...

And after making an appearance on last week's results show, sales for Kellie Pickler's CD rose 37%. I guess other people weren't as bored with her performance as I was...
