'Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World' site launches

This isn't exactly video game news, however any fan of gaming should be well-versed in the ongoings of Scott Pilgrim.

Currently in its fifth volume, the Scott Pilgrim series is currently being made into a major motion picture, Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World.

Here's what you need to know about it.

- Scott Pilgrim is a brilliantly written, hilarious graphic novel based in Toronto.
- It is written by Bryan Lee O'Malley.
- The books are PACKED with video game references.
- They're done in the style of Manga but are thoroughly Canadian.
- The film is directed by Edgar Wright, who directed Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the Dead.
- Scott Pilgrim is being played by Michael Cera of Superbad and "Arrested Development."

Today, Edgar Wright launched the film's site, where he will update frequently about what's going on on the set. Here's a video of his first update.
