PS2 priced at $99

(Note: For this post, you need to pretend that it's actually Christmas of the year 2000.)

Hey there, everybody! Wow, isn't it weird that the first year of the new millennium is almost over? And to think, this time last year we were stockpiling food and preparing for the worst of times!

Hey, congratulations George W. Bush! As president, you should hang out with country legend Chet Atkins (WHILE THERE'S STILL TIME...oh, I forgot to mention that I'm an evil spirit from the future in this scenario).

Anyway, if you haven't headed over to your local retailer to buy the Sony PlayStation 2 yet, you should do it now, because it has been priced down to $99! That's a savings of $200!

(In actuality, if you don't have a PS2 already, it is a pretty good deal to buy it for $100. I mean, it's also a DVD player and there are a ton of discounted "Greatest Hits" games, so you should really get one. But the news really would be mind-blowing if we did live in the year 2000. What a year, right?)
