What I've been playing lately

As of late, this blog has gotten awfully impersonal, hasn't it? It's all "news, news, news." Well I think it's time that we catch up with nobody's favorite video game blogger.

I've been pretty busy this semester of my college career, but thanks to a gift from every college (spring break), I've managed to plop down and finally play a few games that I've been putting off for months.

So what have I been playing, you ask? You didn't ask? Well I'm telling you anyway. Deal with it. Oh, and don't worry, it's nothing new.

1) Peggle. Whenever I tell somebody that they have to play Peggle because of how addictive and wonderful it is, I can't get past those two words in describing it. If you haven't played Peggle, you need to jump on the Xbox Live Arcade and download the demo. It's unfortunately addictive. Here's a video of the basics.

2) Blue Dragon. I always loved RPGs as a kid, but nothing has really compelled me to play one since Final Fantasy X. I found Blue Dragon for cheap and playing it has been a really satisfying (and mind-numbing) experience. Excellent graphics and terrible dialogue really move the game along.

So those are my two recommendations for the moment. Definitely spend your $10 on Peggle.
