This Week's New Releases - Not So Good. Downloads - OK At Best.

I took a look at the new games coming out this week and had a hard time swallowing the information. It doesn't look good, people. Beijing 2008 for the PC? Or worse, the generic Summer Athletics for the Wii? WOOO! Does it stink in here or what?

Still, there's hope on the downloadable game front. Here's some noteworthy stuff.

Wii Shop Channel
- Sonic the Hedgehog for the Sega Master System
- Splatterhouse 2 for the Sega Genesis

WiiWare
- Wild West Guns. It's the first WiiWare title to support the Wii Zapper. It looks like a better rendition of the world's worst excuse for a Wii game, Chicken Shoot.

PlayStation Network
- Nothing.

Xbox Live Arcade
- Braid. Check this out.

That one looks pretty intriguing if you ask me. Anything else? No? Just some Motley Crue tracks for Rock Band? No thanks.
