Mark Wahlberg is a Smart Man

Mark Wahlberg is starring in the upcoming Max Payne film. So has he played the game? Absolutely not.

Wahlberg's a great actor, so he should be ready to research his character by playing the game (although nobody ever said the Max Payne movie is going to be the next big follow-up to his performance in The Departed). At least the man knows himself well enough to point out his weaknesses. Here's what he said about the game in an interview with People.com.
"I didn't want to play because I have an addictive personality," he says. "I got more responsibility now than I've ever had with the kids and everything else. I don't want to be spending 14 hours on the video game and then eight hours on the set. It's not going to work out."
Step one - know thyself. Big ups to Socrates.
