Oh no! There's Goes Tokyo

Warning: Following story will be more awesome if you play the below video as you read!

WOAH! I HOPE YOU LIKE RADICAL VIDEO GAMES!

"Godzilla: Unleashed" is coming to the Wii from Atari. It'll be the third in their melee series. OK, so you know that.

Now, check this quote from IGN:

"Godzilla can be walking in one direction, attacking with his claws in another, firing his weapon in a third direction, and swinging his tail at a rear target all at the same time."

I'm not sure how hard I can buy a game, but I'm going to find out, and I hope you are too.

Oh, if you're curious, I've got an actual screen shot, but it doesn't beat Blue Oyster Cult.

Seen here: Godzilla battling Mechagodzilla. Not pictured: Me totally freaking out.

Live hits snooze once again

Hey, and welcome to “Blog: The Video Game” the H-D’s new blog about video games. I’m Justin McElroy. We’ll be reviewing games here, previewing some, talking about gamer culture, maybe even giving some stuff away.

Today, though, let’s talk about Xbox Live Arcade.

Xbox Live Wednesdays are like waiting for your family to visit you in a nursing home. No, it’s not always quality time, but at least you know they're thinking about you, and it’s a regular thing you can look forward to. Well, it seems our no-account grandson has forgotten us for the second week in a row with no update slated for tomorrow. (No, I’m not counting those “Lumines” add-ons.)

But a Microsoft spokesperson e-mailed me today to give a peek at some of the new stuff coming to arcade like "Alien Hominid HD," "Band of Bugs" and "Castlevania: Symphony of the Night."

Well, I guess that’s something.

UPDATE: We've got a new demo on XBL today for "Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter 2." It's not a new arcade game, but it's free.
