Avoid the Wave finish
Its always fun to sketch big sweeping waves of green water. As I was working on Tulane's homecoming queen, I'm thinking to myself "OK, how do you make a pelican look alluring? Good luck today, Herd.
Thomas A. Marsh has been creating illustrations and visual elements for the Herald-Dispatch since 1990. A multi-award winner, his visuals are fresh, insightful and full of humor. His admitted favorite time of year is football season when his Herd Gameday cover illustrations describe the Thundering Herd’s weekly challenges on the gridiron. He has also produced many celebrity caricatures, portraits and conceptual art to help present the news.
