Finish on Hannah and Bob
These two were pretty easy to do. The smoke coming out of the cars was added in Photoshop. The only hitch was getting enough space under the cars to fit a headline and copyblock. Check out the print edition to see how it all came together.
Thomas A. Marsh has been creating illustrations and visual elements for the Herald-Dispatch since 1990. A multi-award winner, his visuals are fresh, insightful and full of humor. His admitted favorite time of year is football season when his Herd Gameday cover illustrations describe the Thundering Herd’s weekly challenges on the gridiron. He has also produced many celebrity caricatures, portraits and conceptual art to help present the news.
