Vacation Time? THINK BLENKO GLASS - MILTON, WV

Its a new year 2009. When scheduling your vacation time, please plan to attend the Blenko Collectors Society Gathering in Milton, West Virginia this group meets yearly in August at the Blenko Glass Factory.

If you are a new or an old collector glass, Blenko or other WV Glass this will be an exciting time for you. If you live in West Virginia - well, you MUST come down to Milton, learn about the exciting world of collecting Blenko - learn some local history, meet your neighbors, make new friends and have the opportunity to purchase glass that may never been offered for sale again.

Blenko Glass each year make many items to sell for the Collectors Gathering - its the only time these items are offered.

Your opportunity to start a collection of limited edition items at bargain prices. The souvenir sun catchers are less than $20 - so everyone can afford something during this 'vacation period'. The older workers return to 'show off' their skills, the current group of highly skilled craftsmen will be working daily, you can bring the grandchildren, children, your school class, your neighbors children, this is an expensive fun filled weekend.

While I haven't heard whats being planned this year, in years past there has been 'hot air balloon rides', the opportunity to BLOW GLASS, take glass classes from the Masters, make sun catchers, and a Vintage Glass Sale is often a part of this gathering. For more information return here - but also check out frequently the BLENKO GLASS http://www.blenkoglass.com/ website and also the Blenko Glass Collectors Society website. Questions or Comments are welcome!
Note: Thank you to Bridgett for this photo of item she is in process of acquiring.
