LB Gale commits to Herd

Tyson Gale capped his Super Bowl Sunday by committing to Marshall University’s football program after watching five former Thundering Herd players compete on sport’s largest stage. Gale, a 6-foot-3, 230-pound linebacker, called to commit late Sunday night from his Oklahoma home. Gale, the nephew of Marshall Director of Football Operations Mark Gale, totaled 157 tackles last season, including 16 behind the line of scrimmage.
