Recruiting thoughts, questions?

Marshall is well along in filling its 2008 recruiting class needs. Pressing need No. 1 entering the high school phase appears to be adding linebacker depth. What positions would you like to see further filled with approximately eight scholarships remaining? Depth remains something of a concern along the defensive line and it would make sense to sign another offensive lineman. Feel free to share thoughts and throw questions in this direction.

Coaching searches, recruiting take priority

The offseason is anything but for Marshall University’s football program. In addition to hiring a new offensive coordinator and defensive line coach, head coach Mark Snyder is heading what he obviously hopes is a third straight stellar recruiting performance. Junior college prospects take precedence during the next two weekends, with eight visiting this weekend. Feedback is welcomed on Marshall’s top recruiting priorities by position. My perspective: defensive line and cornerback are most in need of immediate impact.
