Quite a day

OK, let’s be honest. Who didn’t have fun on Saturday? Are Marshall football players, coaches or fans pleased or even content with a (misleading) 48-23 loss to West Virginia? A world of no. It was a fun ride for Thundering Herd football, however, leading 13-6 at halftime and trailing just 27-23 late in the third quarter. Joan C. Edwards Stadium was sold out, Mountaineer fans exited Huntington with a victory and from all indications, everyone got along. There’s no more questioning the validity of this series; in fact, this simply hammers home the point that Marshall-WVU should be played home and away. Share your thoughts, supporters of both programs, on this blog. Hope you had fun.
