QB Devine, OL Jones to attend NFL mini-camps

Derek Devine’s strong arm has earned an invitation to the Seattle Seahawks mini-camp. Devine, Marshall’s third-team quarterback last season, impressed Seahawks scouts during his pro-day tryout last month at the University of Oregon. Former Marshall right tackle Wesley Jones, meanwhile, has received a similar invitation to try out for the Washington Redskins. Kicker Ian O’Connor also is expected to receive a mini-camp invitation. The trio joins former Thundering Herd tailback Ahmad Bradshaw, a seventh-round NFL draft choice of the New York Giants, who will participate in camps this month.
