Breaking down C-USA football in Dallas

Bleary-eyed from a 6:40 a.m. flight from Huntington, I wasn’t exactly in reporter mode upon arriving at the Dallas’ Sheraton Grand Hotel for Conference USA Football Media Day activities. Still, there was something familiar about the gentleman checking in to my right. By the time we reached the elevator, I finally snapped from my fog and realized it was former ESPN football analyst Trev Alberts. The opinionated former Nebraska standout has joined CSTV’s football team, lending further credence to the fledgling network. It will be interesting to hear Albert’s take on Marshall and the upcoming C-USA season during today’s live CSTV coverage from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Marshall, by the way, is represented in Dallas by coach Mark Snyder, running back Ahmad Bradshaw and center Doug Legursky.
