Camp season exceeding expectations

After being absent from the football camp game for several years, Marshall conducted three during June. Expectations were modest, but more than 200 campers turned out for last weekend's pair of sessions. Sunday's advanced camp was particularly impressive. Frankly, I was thinking, 'Eh, for a first-year camp it might attract 50-60 campers and of those, maybe a dozen will be legit Division I-A prospects.' Instead, 127 turned out, including dozens of quality prospects. Ted Ginn's Bus Tour alone delivered approximately 50 student-athletes for northern Ohio.
